Working in a remote part of Canada Impact Unemployment rates in First Nation reserves in Northern Ontario are as high as 90%. Groceries cost three to four times more than in Southern Ontario, making it almost impossible for parents to provide adequate nutrition for their children.

Attendance in 2009 climbed to 95 and we continued to focus programming on water activities including swimming lessons. One of our main objectives of this program is to connect with First Nations youth and to begin supporting the community through a youth leadership training program.
